FBM deputation to Council

Friends of Brixton Market led a deputation to Lambeth Council on Wednesday (28th) urging councillors not to support LAP's proposals.
A 'deputation' just means that we were able to have a three minute slot during the meeting of councillors to give them a representation of our views.
Anwar gave a speech where he outlined our concerns about LAP's proposals and consultation.When he finished, the public gallery - which was pretty full - erupted in applause.
