Public Meeting: How's the market doing? 17th December
29/11/2009
It's a year since Friends of Brixton Market got started. On December 17th 2009, we're having a public meeting to update you on what we've been up to, explain what we think is going on, and ask for your input on what you think we should be doing over the next year.
We will also be launching our new membership scheme!
Since summer 2008, FBM has campaigned to save Granville Arcade, helped promote the market, and done a number of positive projects helping to protect and enhance the market's future. There have been many changes in the market: redevelopment plans put on hold, new high profile shops arrived, a new Town Centre Director come into the council, new ambitious plans by various community groups, new rumours and concerns...
If you are available to help promote the meeting, or want to know anything else, please get in touch.
Come and stick your oar in!
